Solitude is something I have always enjoyed
I rarely feel lonely when I am alone
But in that bed with him
I always felt isolated and sad.
Now alone in bed I feel relaxed
And free to be me
Still sometimes sad and lonely
But no longer isolated.
Whoever it was that said
"I'd rather be lonely for someone
Than lonely with someone"
Knew what they were talking about.
